Family Weekend 2024

This summer from Friday, August 16th to Sunday, August 18th, make Tamarack a “home away from home” for the entire family with our annual August Family Weekend! The camp is transformed into an “all inclusive” family experience where adults and kids get to experience the magic of Tamarack. From adult-only activities and talent shows to waterskiing, sailing, fishing, arts and campfires, the weekend is truly world class. Families, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, friends and neighbours and, of course, kids are invited to join us for an action-packed weekend filled with campfires, an amazing variety of activities, and life-long memories!!! Known as being the BEST WEEKEND OF THE SUMMER, you won’t want to miss out on the Camp Tamarack Family Weekend.

What's Included?

All of Camp Tamaracks incredible activities will b open for use during Family Weekend. Soar into the sky on our flying squirrel at ropes, or show off your shooting skills at Archery or Basketball. Whether it is canoeing, climbing, sailing, tennis, swimming, baseball, skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, arts and crafts, fishing, campfires and more, there is no limit to the fun to be had at Tamarack
EP’s are part of overnight camp. Our amazing staff will prepare the perfect end to your day. Be sure to remember your musical instruments as on Saturday you will have the change to participate in the Tamarack Talent Show. Each night will be capped off by a camp fire and snack. There will be Adult-Only EP’s like Karaoke as well! If someone in your party is having a birthday, anniversary or other special occasion at camp, please let us know, we want to help celebrate!
Camp food is good. Actually, it’s pretty amazing. Things have changed since some of you have been to camp and our awesome chef and his team are the best in the business. All meals will be served in our dining hall or as a BBQ on the field. We will be able to accommodate lactose, kosher and vegetarian diets. Tamarack’s kitchen is nut aware and most of our baked goods are prepared in our own bakery. The dining hall will be closed between meals, but there will be fresh coffee and hot water 24/7 available.
Family Weekend includes 5 meals plus snacks (Friday Dinner, Saturday - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner and Sunday Brunch)
Accommodations are in our camper or staff cabins. For a small additional fee, you can upgrade your cabins to a cabin with toilets and a sink, or to a cabin with its own shower. Cabin requests can be made, but will be based on a first come, first serve basis.
